Today’s post is going to look at the Morning Routine components that you can start practicing to live your best life.
The intuitive life planner
This is the first post in a series that introduces each section of the INTUITIVE LIFE PLANNER. It’s a carefully designed method for you to redesign your life by looking inside yourself. Then unpacking what you instinctively know is best for your fulfillment and joy.
This is truly the SECRET to living your best life! It’s about trusting yourself, taking small steps forward along a grand journey, and finding what is the most impactful way to fill your heart and life with joy.
You may wonder WHAT QUALIFIES ME to share this with you. While I am certified as a Health Coach, honestly, what I have to share is simply my own introspections and realizations. I’ve gone through my life with a buffet full of insecurities and demons that have limited my happiness and feeling of accomplishment. To counter these, I’ve read a ton and participated in many programs to improve productivity and success. While they have each provided golden nuggets, it wasn’t until I had the epiphany to create the Intuitive Life Planner that it all came together.
All of my markers of success and failure have come from outside sources, which also means that all of my feelings of worth comes from them as well. That’s certainly NO way to live a great life!
What I’ve learned through being a daughter, sister, wife, mother, ex-wife, entrepreneur, and craftsperson/designer are that I alone have to inspire my happiness. When I take the time to really look introspectively and objectively, as much as any of us can, it’s clear that outside forces only limit the ability for each person to achieve any significant achievement. The true fuel of success is that voice inside of us.
Unfortunately, if you’re like me, that voice inside has been told to BE QUIET since childhood. As a result, it quietly peeks out from time to time to say, “Hey there!” but otherwise shelters itself somewhere deep inside.

Wherever you are on your journey, this will enrich your life. It’s time for each of us to stop living based on the judgments and labels of others. If you fill your heart with joy in this way, you’ll be the best daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, etc … the best YOU possible. This isn’t a selfish take on life. It’s respecting and appreciating the creation (YOU) God molded. This way you can offer the most of yourself to the rest of the world and really contribute in the way that you are intended.

I get this question A LOT and, to be honest, I ask myself this question on a daily basis; which I consider a good thing! I know, this series, planner, concept, the whole shebang seems totally random. Yet I am a creator and this is part of my path of figuring out WHAT and HOW I’m meant to contribute to this worldly-kingdom. So one day I might be sewing, another day I might be decorating, today I happen to be writing about intuitive living. The commonality is that I create. That is my thing and what I’m sharing with all of you as I learn and get messy along the way! Life isn’t one dimensional, so why should this site be any different! lol.

Morning routine for successful people
How each of us defines success is unique. It may be influence, power, money, happiness. Regardless of what you seek to attain in your life to create “success”, one fact has been demonstrated over time: “successful people” practice HOW to grow and develop.
While some folks may be born with certain talents, personality traits, or situations that give them a foot ahead in life; without harnessing how to utilize these advantages into growth, they will do little to create a sustainable lifestyle.
Each of us INTUITIVELY knows
what will move us ahead in our journey.
Those who achieve their manifestations
are the ones who make a practice
out of following their intuition.
It’s SOOO easy to get into bad habits. We ALL do it! The secret is to recognize what IS a BAD HABIT and take steps to eliminate (or perhaps just transform) it into a PRODUCTIVE practice that follows what each of us intuitively knows will help to reach each benchmark. This is how to truly achieve SUCCESS, however, you want to define it.
common elements of the optimal morning routine
STEP ONE: Start your day from the inside out right from the time your eyes first wake up to the time you step out into the main part of your day. In effect, you are CREATING your day as opposed to RESPONDING to your day.
What successful people do first each morning
Before meeting up with the outside world, take care of your personal growth FIRST by practicing some of these morning rituals.
Be sure to set TIME ALLOTMENTS as suggested to create boundaries to protect your productivity.
- 5:00 am – 7:00 am: Wake up EARLY
- 5 minutes: Stretch
- 5 minutes: Make your bed
- 5 – 15 minutes: Meditate
- 30 – 60 minutes: Exercise
- 30 minutes: Read for personal growth
- 30 minutes: Self-care and personal hygiene
- 5 minutes: Create an intention for the day
- 15 minutes: Eat and drink to fuel your body
- 10 minutes: Dress to manifest your intention
Once you’re all set internally, then it’s time to meet up with the rest of the world and ALLOW them into your day in a way that will work toward your personal benchmarks.
- 5 minutes: Record what you intuitively feel are your priorities for the day.
- 15 minutes: Speak to your family and dependents about their day’s needs.
- 15 minutes: Learn what is news is significant from multiple sources.
- 30 minutes: Check and respond to email.
- 15 minutes: Check and comment on social media.
- 10 minutes: Time block your day’s schedule.
With all of this in place, you’re ready to get into the part your day where all of your manifestations take shape into reality!
how to practice your morning routine
This looks like A LOT, right?! I mean, if you calculate all of the time sections, it’s almost 3 hours. How are you going to fit all of that into your schedule?
First Week: Prioritize based on what you intuitively know will benefit you the most. Start with just one to see how it makes you feel. Commit for one week to this practice!
Second Week: Review how you feel about your progress during the first week. Adjust what needs to be adjusted! Add a second element to your morning practice along with the adjusted element from the first week.
Continue this process of revising and adding based on how your intuition feels about each step added, revised, and perhaps removed from your morning routine. Some of these pieces might fall into other time blocks of your day. Add those that are missing into your morning, one by one, and see how you feel as a result.
Once you get into this practice, you can continue to benefit from the process of a routine while allowing for flexibility based on how you feel.
Following your intuition
doesn’t mean doing what is EASY.
It means that you do what you instinctively know
will move you forward on your journey
toward achieving your intentions.
Just one piece to your intuitive life
For right now, use a blank lined journal or an electronic tablet to record your progress. This is just one step that is building up to create your best life, INTUITIVELY! Don’t fret! A fully encompassing planner is coming.
